My name is Ray Miller I am the director of new Media. I have been in the advertising industry for many years. Including my staff we have over 100 years of advertising experience!
Advertising is currently going through a Revolution. It has changed massively over the past few years and new advertising technology is evolving at an ever increasing speed. Traditional media sales staff are under huge pressure to perform in the face of the Google Phenomenon, whilst their fat cat bosses only care about shareholder value and their enormous bonuses! They get greedier by the second, with no regard for the small business, from whom they extract huge profits. Some companies place vehicle trackers in there staff cars that only adds to the reps pressure. I have first hand experience so I know what its like. Many of friends are still suffering out in the field trying to hit silly company targets. Lower targets means happy reps which means customers get what they want not what the company wants to sell them.
